The dragon and the knight part 2

Days turned weeks, weeks turned to months and months turned to years since the dragon and the dragon knight joined forces. In human form, Riker rode with Tsuyoi on his horse and in dragon form, she would hide in the thickest part of the woods. They were wanted for freeing enslaved dragons so traveling was their ally, it was cold that night and Tsuyoi started a fire, keeping themselves hidden in caves. The silver haired knight watched Riker sleep peacefully, a light pink blush grew on his cheeks, was he slowly falling for the dragon? He sighed, seeing he couldn't deny it. He walked over and sat beside her "I'll protect her... She is my dragon..." he thought as he barely touched her cheek, causing her to jump slightly but relax and it made him smile. He watched for movement in the darkness until sunrise, Riker stretched and yawned; discovering Tsuyoi was asleep while sitting next to her, she draped the blanket he let her use over his shoulders and smiled as she watched the movement of the day. She slowly leaned against him, she had a darker blush than his, she fell for him and she did not deny it. She vowed to make this peace and happiness she had to last, no matter the risk...
